I think the only correct way to give to others Is by being a conduit for the light that way when you give to others you are never emptied because the light will replenish you eternally. So you get joy by making others happy and joy from contact with the creator as you are replenished (easier said than done)
From what I’m learning intentions are what separate us from the Creator… Until I can learn to correct my intentions spiritually. All my acts in my daily reality are egotistical. So I try to be a good person and cling to Lo lishma will lead to Lishma (I hope that makes sense)
