My name is John. Truly I lack something in my perception. You and all things are within me but I don’t sense you yet. I sense myself and the things within my environment that are subject to my senses.

I can only choose my environment. That choice feels limited too, but by my desires. If I can change my desires, I can change my environment.

My name is John. I’ve take a few introductory courses. I’m compelled to continue. I’m trying to connect with like-minded people, and to find that middle-line to nourish our growth together.

The English version invoked an intellectual desire to understand the whole. The Hebrew version negated the intellectual desire to understand the whole. Rather, certain words were familiar and these invoked visualization of position on the Tree.
