I have know for 42 years that God hears prayers from the heart immediately, ever since I was on a cold park bench in New Orleans in 1980, homeless and praying for peace in the world. The thought crept through my mind that I could stand this if I just had a pillow. A voice of someone I heard but never saw said that I looked like I could use a pillow and put a down sleeping bag under my head. I realized God answered that desire, because it came truly from the heart. Now, I pray that He may use my eyes to see as He sees, and my hands to do as He would do.
I was very surprised to find that the ego and the will to receive in and of themselves is not a bad thing. Until I met my wife, I have always felt I should deny myself things. Now I am dedicated to receiving enough to give to family and others who are not as blessed as we.
Shalom. My name is Guy from Colorado. My wife introduced me to Kabbalah and became obsessed with me learning it. Unfortunately, she is not the best person to explain a field of study, so I dismissed it for some time. However, I found KabU and began to see the writings and teachings of the Christ and the early apostles and prophets in many of the things I am now learning and now can see where Kabbalah can augment and strengthen my own Christianity and help me with my other studies and writings.
