I understand that one must crawl before one takes baby steps, and one must take baby steps before one can run.  I’ve been writing each request in my journal as a thanksgiving and praise, as though the Creator has already bestowed it upon me.  Now I am beginning to add before each line, “as it is Your pleasure…” to each thing I write.

Is this a way to let the Creator know that I am trying to have Him turn my egoism into altruism and my search from knowledge into the search for attainment?  Is it a way to make that small spot in my heart?

This is difficult for me to express, and I wanted to ask about it in the last week’s zoom.  What are we to feel for the vast majority of souls that are not being awakened?  I ask because I work in prison ministry with some tough cases, and one of my sons once asked me how I can do it.  I told him that prerequisite thing that must happen is that the inmate must become penitent, or at least realize their situation and ask themselves, “how did this happen;” “why am I here?”  Then it is possible to begin bringing them upward from the bottom of the pit.

I would like to ask the Creator to put it onto every soul while I am still in the land of the living, as the psalmists says, to put the question of one’s existence onto every soul on the planet, so I don’t have to ask the question of how am I to feel about the many who are being left to die in darkness.

I’ve come to a point in life that is very close to what has happened in some of my dreams.  In some dreams or nightmares, I have become lucid and aware that I was dreaming, and it came upon me that I could change the dream’s course by my will from what has happening to a better direction.  I have been forced almost to an impasse in life, where I feel, I am compelled to will a more favorable direction for things occurring in my life and produce a desired outcome.

As Jesus the Christ said: “Seek first the Kingdom of God, and all things will be given you.” I am not looking to receive materials things; I am yearning to find the wisdom that leads to being one with the spiritual world and understand all things above and here on earth.

I believe I am going to obtain the tools we are meant to have to reach out beyond what we have always taken for granted as a world that just happens to us and be able to use the next 35 years that I may probably live beyond the 65 years I now have as the truly happy and productive portion of my life, as far as helping others through writing or direct interaction with others who need to hear and have hope.

    Hello,

My name is Guy.  My wife introduced me to kabbalah in 2021.  At first, I was quite skeptical and wondered about the ethics of it and my Catholicism.  However, as I study it more deeply, I can see it written all over the teachings of Jesus and Paul, especially his writings to Ephesus, as he writes that we’ve known all mysteries since before creation.  I’ve somehow always felt what St Augustine described as the veil that keeps us from seeing the true world and have felt within a breath of parting it.  That is my search.  As Jesus, the Christ taught: seek first the Kingdom of Heaven (Ketheriel), and all things will be given you.
