the previous exercises seem to be ongoing developments with very very good results, but this one i was holding off until it seemed right… and today’s not-so-successful attempt at a sit-down, formal talk showed that the approach of the previous Lab and exercises, in comparison, have been working wonders for me, since his ‘episodes’ have become mostly soliloquy and my minimalist role in them has been to smile, ‘melt’ into shared space activities, observe with care, not get involved in others’ eagerness for drama, and – something surprising – he’s become, in the few weeks i’ve been participating in this course, very aware of his own tendencies, to the extent that the episodes are shorter and end with apologies…. then we can talk about Kabbalah for a while and how self-awareness and the work etc can be helpful on many levels, everyone at their own pace… tbh, everyone close to me seems happier and more pleasant since i began KabU, but also begin to feel a bit sad for them, as i understand more deeply that everyone seems to be suffering on some level and are in need of care and compassion… tbh (again), i think i was already a source of comfort, but now it seems to have been magnified…. But, back to the question: i optimistically suggested that “maybe, we can try this again sometime”  i mean, tbh, this Lab exercise might be far from ppl’s ordinary way of living and so, building up to it, planting a tiny seed, could be part of it, too… thanks again for making this class available; i look forward to more
i thought to add this quote i read from Dr. Laitman, in which initially the idea of “Sunbathing” struck me as particularly enticing 🙂
“The matter is not in learning a few pages of text and acquiring knowledge. But we need to read these texts because during the time of studies we direct ourselves to greater influence of the Light. For example, the reading of Kabbalistic texts is one of the conditions of the correct intention towards the Light. But we don’t read them just for understanding, but with the thought to pull towards us the influence of the Light.”

idk what i can say about the readings, but personally i like to pause and meditate on whatever sparks a response and so, reading the Zohar on my own does it better for me; also i can stay in the spark and find the interpreted verse or other reference and continue with that before coming back to where i left off…
if everyone must reach the ultimate goal, then my role would be to make efforts in that direction so i myself can get there, too; while a bit of speculation would relate that sharing it with other people would also contribute to that ultimate goal, hopefully.
i feel like the complexities of my inner world are mirrored and connected to all those moving parts we’re learning about, and, i suppose a principle of sorts might be that the bestowal of the Reforming Light illuminates slowly and gradually my inner sefirot and partzufim through an equally – or more, or less 🙂 complex system of successive worlds, according to a Divine plan (of which i’m hoping to learn how to deepen)… still no harmonious, concrete principle coming up atm…., certainly no “key principle” 😉 maybe, the more effort/time you study the more bestowal received (i’ll go with that 🙂 .
tbh, it didn’t occur to me, but at this point i’m continuing to find out more, as it is very interesting and the presentation is like successive cliff-hangers ! thanks for making this course 🙂
also, the process of learning these things throw everything into confusion, while re-arrangements seem imminent….
