Connecting with others means holding that impossible intention to bestow and praying for the creator to make it real, since my egoistic nature won’t allow me to do it on my own. Our desire to be changed by the process is what connects me to my soul.
My desire for this semester is to continue to experience the wisdom, even if only as a tiny glimpse in the periphery of my field of “vision”. I would like the light to evolve me by increasing my desire to adhere to the creator.
My favorite experience from Kabbalah in Action was the live Q&A with Julian. Everyone’s questions were also questions that I have had. I am looking forward to connecting with the others during this course.
If people were connected according to the spiritual law of love, each person would be concerned only about how to increase their own capacity to bestow upon humanity. Eventually, all of the issues that plague humanity today would cease to exist, as we would have the capacity to address them at a level that is higher than the level that created them.
Prayer is paradoxical, being both complex and simple. I love the idea that I can pray to want what the creator wants as a sort of pre-prayer, as I see that I am too egoistic at this point to be able to always offer up a true altruistic desire.
