First, we must let go of the urge to receive that is driven by the “ego” the self, then we learn to give an act of compassion that stems from the heart that act of giving brings pleasure.
I feel that at Behina Dalet we are in our ego we are not grateful or appreciative of our desires or wants it fills the vessel with darkness, then as learn to appreciate (light) what we have can we begin to be grateful (light)and share/give to others(sunshine/awareness). Then, we feel the pleasure of giving changes our perspective we learn that it is not about me, we, us, but includes them, the kosmos of all Creation.
I feel we all have experienced those moments when you ask should I take the road less taken? I had experiences in which my soul tested spiritual journey and my higher self that inner voice said time to make a decision: to transform or continue on the path of pleasure and pain that ultimately is a cycle of life that goes in circles but never transcends to higher awareness…
The Kaballah teaches us to release the ego and see creation as beautiful “I am walking down a street and I see trash on the streets, broken furniture on the sidewalk, and weeds growing”, our belief system begins to judge what our perception of a neighborhood should look like, then we are perceiving through our belief system that is base on Self/Ego. However, if you walk down the street thinking what a beautiful street then you are perceiving reality for what it is a beautiful creation.
