I’m Allison—took years of Hebrew school as a kid, but it never stuck with me. Now as an adult I have a deep desire to speak it, read it and tune into the spiritual magic and poetry of the language. I hope to go to Israel again and I want to be able to speak with Israelis and show my love and support of the culture and my faith. October 7 has recommitted me to my Jewish roots and devotion. Learning the language will help me better connect to the prayers and people.
