I got many insights from the 5th. Transcending Tzim Tzum > Masach > Ohr Hozer to the middle line puts context on our journey’s. The whole Kabbalah Experience has been an enlightening one. Knowledge is potential power, putting it into practice is embodiment of the 10.
We advance spiritually by passing through what are called “Reshimot.” Reshimot are records or reminiscences of states that exist in our spiritual makeup, and which we uncover as we progress on the spiritual path. They can be likened to frames and scenes in a movie. As a movie is a pre-made sequence of frames and scenes, so our lives have also been created that way. Powerful powerful stuff!
The process of dissemination offers the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the material (docendo discimus) and to spread the the wisdom of Kabbalah to others. Talk about win win.
This is next level! I’m feeling the detail and the intricacy of these texts. There’s lots of study time attributed to week 1 of this course, so much so for it’s taken a little longer to complete.
I’m interested to know what your thoughts were on this quote from Chapter 2: The Boundaries of Joy?
In this world there are only two tragedies. One is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it. The last is much the worst; the last is a real tragedy! Oscar Wilde, Lady Windermere’s Fan
My take home is that Oscar’s talking about the corporeal, as no assumptions made to higher?`
