We need to grow our perception of reality and maybe we do that by: Drawing the Surrounding Light. Asking for correction when we see the evil of our ego. Ensuring the right environment for our growth. Connecting with others and helping each other.
I understand that if I rise in my spiritual level I can bring others with me. This means more altruistic qualities in the world.
In the reading from “Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life”; The Nature of Matter, the author talks about separating the sensing unit into two parts. He describes having two sensors and one receives the pleasure while the other only senses it. In this way “the sensing of pleasure can become unending and yield a sensation of eternal living.”
Is the author talking about the Surrounding Light?
The reading from Kabbalah, Science and the Meaning of Life was a beautiful description of the phases of light and answered why they behave the way they do! I was so pleased that it brought together the phases of light, the restriction and creation of the worlds, Adam and the environment in Atzilut, and the shattering and the creation of our physical world. I had known these things in a basic way by different readings, but having it all together was lovely. It was like having a teacher explain it to me personally.
I also loved the breakdown of, “separating the sensing unit into two parts.” By using two to feel the sensation while only one of the pair receives, “the sensing of the pleasure can become unending.” It gives me something almost mathematical to think about, but I also feel the sensations of the parts from the description. It is truly food for thought.
The best part of the previous course was connecting to the material. It’s not the kind of thing I can recite; it’s about building a more comprehensive understanding of my world, bit by bit. With this course, I hope to keep making connections for growth and change towards THE goal.
I’ve learned that my life’s experience is what I needed to get here and it will keep helping me as I learn Kabbalah. I’ve learned I can’t properly see myself without someone else to reflect off of.
I wish you joy in your endeavors and for you to continue learning so I can learn with you.
