In the “Check for Understanding” of this section, to the question “The essence of creation is…” the quiz correct answer shows as Light. Just checking if this is an error, because according to my understanding, the essence of creation is actually the desire to receive the Light, not the Light itself, which represents the Creator and was not created. Can you clarify if I am misunderstanding?
I have a question regarding the reading text of week 2 Arvut (Mutual Garantee). When the text discuss on people of other nations were not qualify to receive the tora, and after the israel nation came out of egypt then they received the torah, and Abraham, Issac and Jacob was living according to the torah even before being given to the Israel nation, I am curious to know if this is still in the language of roots/branches? or is this in a regular human historic language? as we’ve learned so far that the torah is written in the language of roots and branches and is not historic, I was a little confused here, can you clarify also if there’s any way to distinguish when we read a normal historic text or when it’s in roots/branches language. thanks!
