Hi, everyone. I’m interested in the Kingdom of Heaven as genuine state of mind or being.  I’m here because I can’t do it alone; I need a group, and a teacher.

Through detachment. Through renunciation of desires.

By coming to see that all is from God – those things the ego objects to are perhaps most of all from Him, or since most keenly felt are the most important lessons.

That one must surrender, lay down arms, for His sake.

[Jesse]

Maybe there’s a few ways to approach the question. First I’d like to perceive reality with deeper wonder and humility at God’s glory, His infinite artistry. Then you might hope to leave the physical senses and somehow ‘feel’ ultimate reality – His communications, almost His conversation – via the heart and mind’s interpretation of phenomena. Maybe the fullness of equivalence of form in time brings to one a faint echo of His own perception, an immense love for all creation, and a sense of its unity.

Hello. I love God, and see no satisfaction outside of God, but have great trouble loving my neighbour. Am worried about being a ‘clanging cymbal’.
