We have premises, and thus each can say whatever he likes. Kabbalists have attainment, and thus they cannot say whatever they like, but can only speak about what they attained, even more strongly than what we call our attainment of reality. That, Kabbalists don’t consider attainment but a kind of dream. While these concepts are attainments, and another Kabbalist who attains the same degree, attains the same thing. So, here we speak of the greatest Kabbalists, and what they attained in the degrees at the top of the spiritual ladder where everything begins. They tell us about these states.
One who develops the soul certainly experiences accelerated psychological development, more than what would be over many lives in this world. But the rest is uncertain.
We have a desire. To acquire what I desire (and under no other circumstances), my mind develops. They call the admixture of the results of this process my psychology. With its produce though I can never reach spirituality – even in a thousand lifetimes. I can’t even go toward it because the direction of spirituality is a direction that I can’t imagine. I also don’t like to imagine it, it’s against my nature, against my desire, and I hate it.
That’s why I need the wisdom of Kabbalah. I need to hear from those who already reached spirituality, where to go and how to get there, and I need an Upper Force called Reforming Light to illuminate this dark way on which I otherwise could not bear to travel. Then it becomes pleasant as well.
You’re in the right direction, and I think it’s just a layer of scrunity that is still missing – that that Point is still not the Creator’s Essence. It’s a Point that fell down from the Shattering of the Soul of Adam HaRishon. That is – the CREATED BEING (and if we delve further we’ll see that I’m already using that term loosely, for now), which is not part of the Essence of the Creator at all. Rather, it’s the Will to Receive, as well, but in a form of bestowal: that’s what was shattered; that’s what the Point in the Heart is a piece of.
Though we say “it’s a spark of the Creator, Above” it never refers to His ESSENCE. This differentiation will become important later.
Yes, which is why in this method it’s so important not to expect to get rid of any desire. The Creator won’t allow it, even if I want to. I only make the spiritual desire bigger and bigger, through the books, the teacher, and the friends in the spiritual group.
What’s missing here is an accurate definition of a Creation. A Creation is something new, not an offshoot. Our true essence is the Will to Receive. We’re not the Creator. There’s a Creator and the Created Being. They’ll remain opposites until the end. However, the Created Being will use that entire Will to Receive, in order to bestow. Yet he will not become the Creator. We become similar but not the same – in that the Creator bestows by giving and we, after many corrections, bestow by receiving in order to bestow. The goal of it all is for us to receive and enjoy, but to enjoy the best thing that can ever be: similarly to the Creator.
