These are conversational rather than precise scientific language. Therefore, the way you understand them, you’re also correct.
Just relate to the Creator and it will reach the right address. We’re not yet realistically facing these different degrees. Zeir Anpin is the upper degree to Malchut. We’re parts of the broken Malchut. We need to connect so that we’ll perceive this picture instead of our shattered one.

I can make all this pretty simple. Adam is a spiritual degree one can attain, as it is written “Anyone can be as Moses.” However, there is a Root and Branch relationship between our world at the Upper World such that every root must at least touch its branch. Since there is such a degree as Adam in the upper system we attain, there has to also be somehow someway an Adam in our world. We don’t know how and shouldn’t try to imagine how this looked in our world because we can’t know with any certainty how it or any of the Biblical events looked. Maybe it was with only a few great people who worked in high quality such that they were as if in great numbers. We don’t know. But there had to be some kind of branch called Adam. His parents didn’t even know why they felt like calling him that. It came from Above to them.

How they’re special, chosen by the Creator, perfect, at the end of correction in a perfectly connected state, how I envy their spiritually inclined qualities with which they are rich, how much I love or want to love them. I should keep asking myself too, “What else can I do to help the friends, given how they appear to me, reach the spiritual goal today?”
3. There’s always a decision point where I can either go in the direction of thinking of the friends or thinking about myself. If I choose the friends, I’ll be thrown out of there quickly. But if I choose myself I can disappear from spiritual thoughts for the rest of the day or even the rest of my life. But if I choose the friends, even though I’m thrown out, I’ll get the choice again later. My chances will be according to my decisions which are carefully looked at from Above.
