February 23, 2026 at 1:54 pm EST in reply to: Preparation Question: Congratulations on progressing through the intermediary stages of your Kabbalah learning by staring this new course! Since the wisdom of Kabbalah deals with developing our precious eternal part—the soul—it is important to take a moment to note your expectations from this stage of your journey, and later check back and see what aligned with or differed from your expectations, and how you might’ve changed in the process: What do you hope to get out of this course you’re now starting? #483257
ElishevaParticipantIn my profession as a psychologist, theories are set out to be proved, in terms of human behavior and a set of descriptions that align with the client’s behavior, a diagnosis is reached. I discovered Kabbalah about 15 years ago. However, only by books that I bought. I had an idea of what Kabbalah was about. However, nothing that I could actually practice in my life. Having stated this and having finished the first semester, I am realizing that Kabbalah is so much more than just reading books. One needs a Kabbalist as a teacher to break down every word I ever read. Finishing the first semester, has been an eye-opening experience. One that I wish to continue and learn to apply the method of Kabbalah. I am very interested in learning the wisdom of Kabbalah in terms of application and mostly interested in the writings from ancient Babylonian times.

ElishevaParticipantI had books of Kabbalah that I bought and read. However, now with instructions and the instructors guiding and teaching us the true meaning of Kabbalah, I understand the great significance and meaning of Kabbalah. Another interesting fact is that since I began the courses, I would watch some movies, regular in terms of comedies or serious themes, and words were spoken from the actors’ script that without learning what I have learned, they would just have been words. However, the words that I would hear, I understood that they were connected to concepts of Kabbalah. What I am trying to express is that whether it is a movie or something I read unrelated to Kabbalah, I find words that are similar to words in their meaning to Kabbalah. Serendipity? I do not think so. I think it is more about my brain making purposeful connections between Kabbalah and the world. For this following course, I will be very interested in learning more about how to practice the teachings of Kabbalah and mostly about true prayer.
ElishevaParticipantI need to delve deeper into my inner self to reach that Point in my Heart. I need to pay closer attention to my acts behavioral, psychological, physical in terms of how I not only view the world around me, but also how to improve my actions, thoughts about people close to me or strangers. I want very much to acquire more wisdom. Hence, my great desire and goal to acquire Kabbalah Knowledge.

ElishevaParticipantAs a psychologist and professor, I understand Perception very well. However, at the level of Kabbalah’s teachings and eye opening, deeper understanding of Perception; it must be an extraordinary experience to move towards acquiring the “sixth sense.” The concept of Love Thy Neighbor as you love thyself is easy and difficult at the same time. I have hope that at one point this concept will be second nature to me.

ElishevaParticipantMy goal is to pay attention, careful attention to my behavior, my thoughts, my faults, and correct any part of what is missing; what would get in the way of adding my soul to other souls who want to align with The Creator.

ElishevaParticipantThe video that I just watched on Inanimate, Vegetative, Animate was so enlightening. It helped me understand more regarding the deeper understanding of Kabbalah. Everything makes so more sense to me. It feels as if I (my Intention and Point in my Heart) am traveling, moving towards the achievement that I have intuitively been searching for. There is Light at the end of the steps. Thank you
