I find it interesting that the lessons of mystical schools which are heavily kabbalahistically influenced, all teach the “death of self” but I believe this to mean the not wishing to receive for the sake of ego. The “death of ego” being the beginning of the will to bestow. Also Christ’s teachings of “sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor” seems to be a radical idea until viewed in this light of will to bestow.
I would like the study of Kabbalah to lead me to the true actuality that we exist in, not just my perception, but an objective truth of existence.
I found this to be fascinating, and I always associated “mysticism” with “reaching into the divine levels of reality”. I really enjoy this, and I’m excited to begin into the next lesson.
I expect to begin in the wisdom of Kabbalah and the first foundational steps of knowledge that will be built upon in the coming weeks and courses.
Hello, I’m Dallas Baldwin, 33 from Ohio, USA. I’ve been interested in Kabbalah for sometime and enjoy many of the insights I’ve gained from it. I prefer to have a more concrete academic led understanding of any subject I take seriously, therefore I reached out and am seeking more Light on the subject.
