I was very impressed how the act of changing environment is really the only choice I have.  For example if I like to overeat and I want to stop I can only change the environment around me where the amount of food available is only enough to sustain me but not enough so I will overeat.

Freedom is having the option to choose from among different possibilities. More than that, freedom contains within it the concept that the choice being made will have potential outcomes.

There is none else besides the Creator.  I cannot fathom the level reached by Baal ha Sulaam that he can reach such an incredible insight and then be willing to share that with others like myself who are nowhere near where he was. I understand this to mean that the Creator provides the light but it is what happens when the light strikes me.  What do I do with the light?

I would love to say something profound and loving here. But, as a physician I hsve seen so much misery, pain and death it is very hard for me to accept that the entire reality is the action of the creator. I take this course to understand why I have witnessed so many terrible things and the relational why.

I need to create a screen over my will to receive that also becomes a will to bestow which means my intention must be altruistic and not egoistical so that I can develop equivalence of form with the creator.
