It seems to me in this world money is freedom, and total lack is akin to slavery, what does the kabbalistic definition of freedom teach in this regard?

Freedom is moving in accordance with the will to bestow, so you will not simply be subject to animal law, and rise above your inherent limitations set by the will to receive.
