We can fortify our connection with the illuminating force by creating an environment that fosters spiritual growth (connection with a group), reading authentic Kabbalah texts, and learning from our teacher.
Transitioning from a self-centered perception of reality to that of one grounded in altruism would entail annulling oneself and setting the intention toward the desires of others, such as others’ desire for adhesion to the Creator. In other words, reducing one’s will to receive for oneself in order to receive on behalf of others (bestowing). I’m not sure I’m articulating what I’m trying to say correctly…
I feel that the videos and readings in this lesson propelled me toward a better understanding of Kabbalah and the importance of setting the right intentions to achieve the desired states of reception and bestowal. I’m eager to experience the connection aspect as that seems to be the way to annul oneself in a group setting while bestowing and receiving in order to reach equivalence of form with our Creator… My apologies if I’m not explaining this very well. There is so much to learn and contemplate.
In this course, I hope to deepen my understanding of my ego and its role in my spiritual development, recognize Nature’s plan for a future rooted in mutually beneficial connections, and learn about the “Reforming Light” and its activation through the Kabbalists tool-kit (group, teacher, and texts).
I think the best experience for me from the previous course was learning that there are a lot of other people in the world who share a similar desire to know why we are here and learning about our Creator.
For this course, I hope to gain a deeper level of connection and understanding of Kabbalah in order to apply what I am learning to my everyday life: thoughts and actions.
