What inspired me about the course? The teaching in the videos and the feeling of trust in the teachers. I have learnt how easy it is to deceive myself in both positive and negative ways. I hope and wish my fellow students find equivalence with the creator.
I would feel excitement, shyness, and nervousness, and I hope for a sense of belonging as I get settled and a sense of friendship and connection with some people.
I find it difficult to answer this question because that change is not in my hands but is ultimately in the hands of the creator. all I can do is be willing to make the changes put before me. My desire is knowledge of the creator and to be like him and in union with his will.
I have enjoyed the sequence of the first courses drawing us gently from the basic beliefs of the kabbalah, applying those beliefs to our present situation and preparing us for the practice of Kabbalah in a group and with A teacher.
As we progress I expect to be challenged as I realise this is not about me and my spiritual desires. but about the world’s needs and the voice of the creator.
