What inspired me most in this course has been the understanding of equivalence of form and bestowal as opposed to our natures with the will to receive. I feel that we can strive to attain and choose the path of light. This brings hope to the trajectory that we have been on so that we may better be able to live in harmony with nature in the future. I am grateful for the teachers in the course and my peers.
I have learned that I should seek to grow in altruism and understand the unity between us all more actively.
I wish that we all have the strength to carry on, persevere, and grow in wisdom.
From our readings and studies so far, what has stood out to me is, “faith above reason”. Also, altruism is important in understanding how we can grow and develop. When we reach for spiritual development and learn more about the wisdom of Kabbalah, things will become more clear.
I wish that we can stand in love, wisdom, and freedom close to the creator, understanding that we are one… that the more that we are united, the more we can accomplish. I wish that we act in altruism, instead of ego, which is currently manifesting terrible symptoms in our world today. The closer we come to healing spiritually, we can help resolve some of causes of what manifests, and move towards a better future.
I understand better about how we need to correct our desires and work towards developing ourselves spiritually. Being aware of the will to receive has been so helpful in understanding how we act. It seems so hard to get away from it. (i.e. Even if I volunteer without telling my family about my kind act, I’d still feel self-esteem from doing it. Therefore, I derive a benefit from seemingly altruistic acts). But I understand now how important it is to feel a need to understand the creator.
I had a question about the first question from the knowledge check, in which it was stated that, “There is no reality outside a person’s perception.” Could you please briefly elaborate on this concept? I was initially under the impression that we needed to develop a sixth sense to perceive in a more holistic, spiritual way; however, that did not discount the notion of a true, objective reality and natural laws of the universe that we live in.
I hope that the study of Kabbalah can help me align my perception with what actually is – with the truth. I also hope that I can go beyond the five senses.
