Viewing reality from the perspective of the Creator means perceiving the world through a lens of complete unity, purpose, and interconnectedness. This perspective transcends the limited, ego-centered view that humans naturally possess and instead aligns with the Creator’s ultimate intention of bestowing goodness and fulfillment upon creation.
Freedom lies in realizing who we are as creatures-the will to receive. In realizing this there is an opportunity to decide that we no longer desire to receive just for ourselves, but that we wish to receive only to bestow it back to the eternal giver-the Creator. That alone can be called an independent thought, or free will. All else is in the shackles of the will to receive for oneself.
The statement alone brings utmost clarity and a profound sense of awe beyond imagination. It switches the perception of every little thing. Everything becomes connected like pieces of a mosaic finally coming together. It is an indescribable sense of ‘yearning’ for that coming together with the Creator.
If there is none besides Him, how is it possible for us to either be aware of Him or unaware of Him? In other words, since He is the source and director of all things, it seems impossible for a person to independently choose to be unaware of Him. Wouldn’t that, too, be entirely in God’s hands? I understand the desire to consciously draw closer to the Creator, but even that longing must ultimately come from Him. Or am I overlooking something?
