This may seem a very simple question, but one that has been present in my mind. What does a student of Kabbalah call themselves? “Student of Kabbalah” seems a mouthful. In my view, a Kabbalist is one who has already attained certain levels. Knowing I am still early in my path and studies, is there a term for one who has started studying the Wisdom?
Practical tools, and an a Teacher. All of the reading I’ve one on my own is informative, and I have moments of what feels like connection, but I’m unsure of what is a real connection to the Light, and what is my imagination of what that would feel like. I need a Teacher.
My goal is to better grasp how to reduce egoism and draw closer to the Creator, and to please the Creator. I want to feel the Light of the Creator, and draw closer to Him
I’m John, a new student of Kabbalah. After decades of searching in all the wrong places, I’ve come to Kabbalah and found the Wisdom to be what I have been looking for. I seek a deeper understanding and perhaps am finally able to truly appreciate the Wisdom for what it is.
