Chaos and conflict is caused by the many individuals who are not attuned to Love your neighbor as yourself. There are so many in the collective thought that are in the desire of “what’s in it for me” attitude which creates mass selfishness, greed, and hatred. And with this infectious collective negative thoughts/desires in our world, these individuals have closed all thoughts for redeeming LIGHT.
To move forward on the path of light and transformation we need to learn who we (and the I-me) are. We need to correct ourselves by our intentions toward giving/bestowing always for the ‘sake of the Creator’. The hard part in doing this, I think, is knowing that we need to put ‘for the sake of the Creator’ before every endeavor when we encounter another person that crosses our path in life. I believe that means that we need to intentionally think of Love thy neighbor (friend) with all intentional Love before we speak or act with another person.
To ask the Creator to help us in ‘giving for the sake of giving’ to others, and for ‘the Sake of the Creator’ without expecting any benefit for oneself.
I missed the first 4 (I think) Grad lessons that are on Thursday. I am listening to the past lessons before I try again to go live at the next Thursday class. I am a beginner in Kabbalah. Lessons like ‘Prayer For The Many’ was enlightening. As I watched and listened to Mike and Igal lecture, I began to understand some of the beginner classes a little better. This advance class helped me to understand the concept of prayer for others. Life and my ego interferes with my studies, but I won’t give up. Thanks for your lectures.
What I understand is that it is almost impossible to have full intentional thoughts on the Creator 100% of the time while we are conscious. However, I’ve read in The Kabbalah Experience, by Rav Michael Laitman PhD, page 321 on “Intensity of Thought” and page 104, “The Intent During The Study” that even a little intent each day that we direct our thoughts to the Creator, for His Sake, and that it comes from the heart, then we will make some corrections on our egos. If I am correct in my understanding then the intention of our thoughts will affect our reality.
We shouldn’t be satisfied because we need the desires for satisfaction to give us motivation to build our desires to correct our egoism. I love the EGO Formula: Expected pleasure minus expected effort = pleasure>effort=movement; as effort>pleasure=no movement.
