Hi Catherine,

It depends on your goal in life. If your goal is to reach the revelation of the Creator, this is possibly only when we practice connection and bestowal with other points in the heart in the Kabbalistic group.

If you practice this anywhere else, in the best case scenario you’ll build some good relationships, in the worst case, people will think you’re weird or try to take advantage of you. But either way it will not lead to the revelation of the Creator.

So generally, with the rest of the world, it’s best to just act normal, like everyone else. Meaning don’t make a saint of yourself and at the same time don’t cause harm to others or break the law, but just act the way normal people act.

Hi Karen,

The 613 desires that we are learning about are spiritual desires, meaning desires that we don’t yet have. This is similar to how a single cell in a body only has some basic desires. But when that cell is part of a greater body, it reveals there higher desires which are impossible for the individual cell to have: desires for money, honor, power, etc. Same with us, until we integrate with the general body of Adam HaRishon, we don’t reveal or understand these 613 spiritual desires.

Hi Julia,

It’s not considered bestowal, but through such exercises, we feel the need to reach bestowal. This is because the Creator, and everything He sends us, operates on the frequency of bestowal. While we are looking at life through the lens of reception. As such, we operate on two completely different frequencies. So it’s currently impossible for us to understand Him. We first need to correct our nature and become similar to Him. Only then will we begin to understand Him and to comprehend properly all that we see in life.

Hi Carlos,

Kabbalists hint that there are further degrees of development, but in our current state, we don’t yet have the tools to properly measure these things, so we don’t talk about them.

I’m not an expert in other methods, so I cannot comment on that.

In general, in Kabbalah we use the group in order to extract the reforming light. This light then corrects our egoistic nature which makes us similar to the Creator. As a result of this correction, we reveal the Creator in practice, in our lives. This follows the law of equivalence of form.

Hi Louis,

Essentially all of reality can be broken down into reception and bestowal. These are the two main opposites in nature. All of reality is built upon them. Even our five senses, if they are based on reception, then we see and experience this world. If they are based on bestowal, then we see and experience the spiritual world.
