      Peace and blessings,

I’ve gained a deeper understanding that my experience of life is shaped more by how I perceive and interpret it than by what is actually happening. Instead of seeing situations as purely external events, I’m beginning to recognize how my reactions, assumptions, and desires influence what I experience. This has helped me pause more, observe my responses, and choose how I engage with life rather than reacting automatically.

I also see more clearly that what feels like separation, between myself and others, or between me and life, is often a result of my own limited perspective. When I become more aware and less reactive, there is a natural sense of connection and clarity that emerges. This has shifted my focus from trying to control external situations to refining how I relate to them.

Overall, I’m starting to understand that growth doesn’t come from escaping life, but from being more present and intentional within it. By working on my perception and responses, I can navigate challenges with more balance, and I’m beginning to see how this process reveals a deeper order and purpose behind everyday experiences.

In moments when I am consciously giving and receiving love, the branches of my heart fill with the reflected light of God.

Through this course, I began to see my life as part of a much bigger system. I realized that behind many events in the world and in my personal life, there are forces shaping human behavior – especially the tension between egoism and the need for connection.

Understanding this helped me look at people and situations more thoughtfully, and it made me realize that real change in the world begins with how we relate to one another.

I have found that ego drags me more than anything.

I’ve begun to see that much of my life is shaped by egoistic desires, which create imbalance, and that by consciously adding altruism (acting to give and connect) I move toward equivalence of form with the Creator and greater harmony in my life.

I have discovered that everything that we do comes from the will to receive I.e. egoistic desires within the heart, which is also the source of the suffering that we see within humanity at large (and how we perceive it.) This has lead me to understand that a correction must take place within, transforming egoism into altruism.

I have a deeper understanding that we have two options: the path of Pain (non-conscious involvement) and the Path of Light (conscious involvement.)

This week has awakened the desire to develop walking the Path of Light (Torah and Mitzvot), to consciously move towards my goal of reuniting with G-d.

I desire to learn, and to practice how to give in a way that is pleasing to the Creator, for His sake.
